This reader contains the complete 66-book Protestant edition of the World English Bible, published by eBible.org. It is a published, openly reusable translation, separate from the English Standard Version. The text is imported from the publisher, not generated or rewritten by this app.

All 1,189 chapters and 31,103 numbered verse entries were checked against both of the publisher’s XML and plain-text exports on 30 September 2026. The wording matches; only surrounding layout whitespace is removed. Five numbered entries are empty in the source and remain empty here. Verse numbering and wording can differ between translations.

The publisher’s verse-text export omits headings, paragraph formatting, introductions, and footnotes. Open “Read publisher’s chapter” for the publisher’s layout and notes. This edition excludes the Deuterocanon/Apocrypha; Christian traditions differ in their biblical canons.
